Solar-powered flashing yellow lights are a common passive warning device on outdoor roads. They are powered by photovoltaic energy storage, providing independent power and automatic flashing. I. Light Energy Capture, Initial Energy Transformation
This stage is the basis of the power supply of the equipment. It realizes the conversion of solar energy to the electric energy and provides energy support for subsequent energy storage and light emission.
1. Conversion photovoltaïque:
The monocrystalline silicon solar panel on top is the core component of the device. It works on the principle of photovoltaic effect. In sunlight it makes electrons within the panel become semiconductors which then directly converts the light energy into direct current. It can also perform weak charging in cloudy or low-light environments, providing energy replenishment in low-light conditions.
2. Intelligent Start/Stop with Light Sensing:
The fixture is equipped with a light sensitive module which can detect the surrounding light intensity in real time.
3. Day Charging, Illumination Paused:
When there is enough daylight, the system automatically switches to charging mode and stops the illumination. At night, with the disappearance of light, it automatically switches to a new operation mode and activates the flashing warning function for unattended intelligent operation.
II. Stabilisation and Storage of Energy
The converted electrical energy cannot be used directly and needs to be stored and stabilized by an energy storage system so that the lights can operate stably and for a long time.
1. Storing Energy:
The converted DC power is supplied to the built-in lithium battery through a circuit for energy storage. The battery is low power consumption, can resist high temperature and low temperature. It can store the excess light energy during the day to provide continuous power at night, cloudy or rainy days and no light, so that the operation will not be interrupted.
2. Voltage stabilization and protection against overcharging:
Embedded intelligent control mainboard has the function of voltage stabilization, overcharge protection and over-discharge protection. This stabilizes the charging voltage and current, protects the battery from damage caused by excessive voltage under strong light, prevents the battery from over-discharge, and effectively extends the life of both the battery and the whole light fixture.
III. Warning Output with Flickering Light
The stored electrical energy is used to flash a high frequency solar-powered flashing yellow light to realize a road warning function after regulation.
1. Powered by LED Light Source:
The energy storage battery supplies stable DC power to a high-brightness LED yellow light source. The wavelength of the yellow light has a stronger penetrating power, which can extend the visibility in rain, fog and dust storms, suitable for road warning scenarios and improve the visibility of the vehicle.
2. Strobe Programmed:
The main control chip has a fixed flashing frequency, which can accurately control the on-off rhythm of the light source, so as to produce a regular flashing effect. The solar yellow warning light is more likely to attract the attention of the driver than the constant light, which can effectively remind the vehicle to slow down and avoid driving risks at intersections and curves.
