1. LED traffic light consists of motor vehicle signal lights, non-motor vehicle signal lights and pedestrian signal lights. Motor vehicle signal lights must be set at LED traffic light intersections, and non-motor vehicle signal lights and pedestrian signal lights can be set up. Beijing generally sets up all types of signal lights.

2. LED traffic light poles are usually divided into cantilever type and column type. Motor vehicle signal lights generally adopt cantilever type, and pedestrian signal lights adopt column type.

3. The column height of the cantilever signal light pole is 6.4m, and the length of the cantilever is the length from the column to the center of the innermost exit lane. The distance between the column and the curb is generally 1m, and it is generally set at the tangent point of the curb curve, as close as possible to the stop line of the control direction. The number of the cantilever signal light pole is T6.4-8SD, which means 6.4m high outrigger 8m.

4. Motor vehicle signal lights are divided into round lights and direction lights. Generally, only round lights are installed at intersections that do not have special left-turn phases, and round lights and direction lights are installed at the entrance lanes with special left-turn phases.

5. Motor vehicle round lights generally have at least 2 groups.

6. Non-motor vehicle signal lights are usually attached to the column of the cantilever signal light pole, and set up 1 group; when the non-motor vehicle signal light is set on the column type light pole, it is set near the stop line of the entrance road.

7. Pedestrian signal lights are supported by 3m-high columns and are set at the end of the pedestrian crossing, about 1m away from the curb. When the distance between the two directions is relatively short, it is advisable to set them in parallel.

8. When the motor vehicle signal lights are supported in the form of columns, the height is 6m. At the same time, pedestrian signal lights or non-motor vehicle signal lights can be attached.

9. T-shaped intersection signal lights can be supported by 3m cantilever, 1.5m double cantilever, 6m column and other support forms. When using 6m column support, only one group of round lights can be installed.
