Vehicle traffic signal lights are indispensable in modern road control. Outdoor LED traffic lights allow for the rational division of control cycles based on traffic flow distribution to determine control procedures. Pedestrian green times are set to ensure pedestrian safety on the street. However, outdoor LED traffic lights also have different light-emitting unit sizes depending on the product. So, do you know what the light-emitting unit sizes of vehicle traffic signal lights are?
LED Traffic Control Signal Unit Sizes:
LED traffic control signal light-emitting unit sizes are available in three specifications: Φ200mm, Φ300mm, and Φ400mm. The diameters of the mounting holes on the signal light housing are Ф200mm, Ф290mm, and Ф390mm respectively, with a dimensional tolerance of ±2mm.
For outdoor LED traffic lights without patterns, the light-emitting surface diameters of the Φ200mm, Φ300mm, and Φ400mm light-emitting units are Ф185mm, Ф275mm, and Ф365mm respectively, with a dimensional tolerance of ±2mm. For patterned LED traffic lights, the diameters of the circumscribed circles of the light-emitting surfaces of the Φ200mm, Φ300mm, and Φ400mm LED traffic lights are Ф185mm, Ф275mm, and Ф365mm respectively, with a permissible dimensional deviation of ±2mm.
The center-to-center distance between each light-emitting unit of the outdoor LED traffic light must not exceed 135% of the size of the unit’s cover.
Qixiang LED traffic warning light housing is made of die-cast aluminum, which is lightweight, strong, and resistant to deformation and aging during prolonged outdoor use. The signal light sunshade and decorative strips are made of ultra-thin aluminum alloy, offering high strength and good flexibility. The color filter is made of tempered glass, providing good light transmission, resisting dust accumulation, and posing no injury if broken.
Qixiang LED traffic warning lights consist of 300mm or 400mm diameter signal lights, emitting red, yellow, and green light in either a full-disc or arrow pattern. The outer shell is made of die-cast aluminum, independently developed by our company. This shell has the following characteristics:
1. The unit shell is molded in one piece, resulting in lightweight, high strength, minimal deformation under high and low temperature conditions, and strong corrosion resistance.
2. Specifically designed for LED traffic lights, this shell is compact and aesthetically pleasing. During production, it undergoes multiple processes including die-casting, screening, trimming, and shaping, resulting in a smooth surface free from cracks, burrs, silver streaks, and other defects.
3. The shell features a black main body with a white decorative frame, providing a bright color that resists fading, discoloration, and other defects even after prolonged use.
4. The shape features a rounded square shell, a circular sunshade, and a light-transmitting cover with uniform brightness, a wide visual range, and strong light transmission.
5. Sealing: To maximize the dustproof and waterproof performance of the lamp housing, a double-sealing technology is employed. Firstly, a waterproof sealing ring groove is specially designed at the joint between the lamp cover and the lamp housing. Secondly, a specialized sealing tray is used inside the signal light to seal the LED light sheet and power supply between the light-transmitting cover and the tray, ensuring maximum sealing performance under various outdoor weather conditions. Through these measures, our company’s LED traffic control signal lamps achieve an IP54 protection rating.
6. Installation: The signal light housing is designed with various installation methods in mind, equipped with multiple mounting brackets and universal gear plates at both ends of the signal light for easy adjustment of the installation angle. The lamp cover uses a V-shaped opening mechanism and is specially equipped with hand-tightening screws, allowing the lamp cover to be opened without any tools during installation and maintenance.
7. LED traffic warning lights need to be used outdoors for extended periods. In addition to ensuring the durability of the main lamp housing, our company uses stainless steel screws to secure all signal light components.
