1. For the entrance and exit of the intersection, one or more signal light groups can be installed as needed.
2. When the intersection is set with a correctly channelized triangular diversion island, in general, the signal light column should be set on the diversion island.
3. When the distance between the entrance and exit parking line and the opposite signal light is large, the opposite signal light should use a light-emitting unit transparent LED signal light with a diameter of 400mm.
4. For roads without motor vehicle lanes and non-motor vehicle lanes, the opposite signal light pole should be installed near the tangent point of the road edge. When the road is wide, it can be cantilevered on the sidewalk on the right side of the road.
5. For roads with motor vehicle lanes and non-motor vehicle lanes, if the width of the isolation zone allows, the opposite signal light pole should be installed within 2m behind the tangent point of the motor vehicle and non-motor vehicle lanes; when the road is wide, it can be cantilevered on the right side of the road, or a signal light group can be added to the left side of the motor vehicle and non-motor vehicle lanes as needed; when the road is narrow (motor vehicle road width is less than 10m), it can be installed in the isolation zone on both sides of the road; if the width of the isolation zone is small, the signal light pole cannot be installed.
6. The signal light at the span of the overpass is installed on the bridge body or on the right side of the entrance and exit lanes; if there is a secondary parking line under the overpass, a signal light group should be added on the other side of the overpass.
7. Set up LED signal lights at the roundabout to control vehicles entering and exiting the roundabout. Set up signal light groups inside the roundabout to indicate the motor vehicles entering the roundabout, and set up signal light groups on the outer layer of the roundabout to indicate the motor vehicles leaving the roundabout.
8. When there is a left-turn waiting area at the underbridge intersection or a larger level crossing, if the vehicle entering the left-turn waiting area is not easy to observe the change of the opposite signal light, it is advisable to add a left-turn arrow signal light group opposite the left-turn waiting area.
9. If there is a right-turn arrow LED signal light for the motor vehicle right-turn diversion island, a right-turn arrow signal light group can be installed on the right-turn diversion island.
