Traffic safety facilities play a vital role in maintaining traffic safety and reducing the severity of accidents. Types of traffic safety facilities include: plastic traffic cones, rubber traffic cones, corner guards, crash barriers, barriers, anti-glare panels, water barriers, speed bumps, parking locks, reflective signs, rubber post caps, delineators, road studs, elastic posts, warning triangles, wide-angle mirrors, cordons, guardrails, corner guards, traffic uniforms, highway ancillary facilities, traffic lights, LED batons, and more. Next, let’s take a look at some common traffic facilities in our daily lives.
Qixiang offers a comprehensive range of traffic safety facilities, including guardrails, traffic signs, reflective markings, and barrier piers. These products meet the highest national safety standards and excel in key performance indicators such as impact resistance, weather resistance, and reflective clarity. Qixiang has served numerous municipal and highway projects nationwide and has earned unanimous customer recognition.
1. Traffic lights
At busy intersections, red, yellow, and green traffic lights hang on all four sides, acting as silent “traffic police.” Traffic lights are internationally standardized. Red signals stop, while green signals go. At intersections, vehicles coming from multiple directions converge, some going straight, others turning. Who gets to go first? This is the key to obeying traffic lights. When the red light is on, vehicles are allowed to go straight or turn left. Right turns are permitted if they do not obstruct pedestrians or other vehicles. When the green light is on, vehicles are allowed to go straight or turn. When the yellow light is on, vehicles are allowed to stop within the stop line or crosswalk at the intersection and continue to pass. When the yellow light is flashing, vehicles are warned to exercise caution.
2. Road guardrails
As an important component of road safety equipment, they are usually installed in the center or on both sides of the road. Traffic guardrails separate motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles, and pedestrians, dividing the road longitudinally, allowing motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles, and pedestrians to travel in separate lanes, improving road safety and traffic order. Traffic guardrails prevent undesirable traffic behavior and prevent pedestrians, bicycles, or motor vehicles from attempting to cross the road. They require a certain height, density (in terms of vertical bars), and strength.
3. Rubber speed bumps
Made of high-strength rubber, they have good compressive strength and a certain degree of softness on the slope, preventing a strong jolt when a vehicle hits them. They provide excellent shock absorption and vibration reduction. Securely screwed to the ground, they resist loosening in the event of a vehicle impact. Special textured ends prevent slippage. Special craftsmanship ensures a long-lasting, fade-resistant color. Installation and maintenance are simple. The black and yellow color scheme is particularly eye-catching. Each end can be fitted with high-brightness reflective beads to reflect light at night, allowing drivers to clearly see the location of speed bumps. Suitable for use in parking lots, residential areas, at the entrances of government offices and schools, and at toll gates.
4. Road cones
Also known as traffic cones or reflective road signs, they are a common type of traffic equipment. They are commonly used at highway entrances, toll booths, and along highways, national highways, and provincial highways (including main streets). They provide a clear warning to drivers, reduce casualties in accidents, and provide a safer environment. There are many types of road cones, generally classified as round or square. They can be categorized by material: rubber, PVC, EVA foam, and plastic.
Whether it is the procurement of regular transportation facilities or the design of safety protection for special scenarios, Qixiang can efficiently meet customer needs and help build a safer and more orderly transportation environment.
